Sloe Gin

Method

  1. Wash sloes. 
  2. Put the sloes in a large sterilized jar.
  3. Pour over the gin and the sugar; close the jar and shake well.
  4. Store the jar in a cool, dark place.
  5. Sake the jar every day for a week.
  6. Then shake it once a week for 2 months.

  • 8 oz golden caster sugar 
  • 1 3/4 pint gin 
  • 1 lb sloes
